Why was my coffee not vacuum sealed?

Please be advised that our coffees are never vacuum sealed. The coffee bags may compress as they travel to you. All our coffee bags have a one way valve that is responsible for extracting CO2 gas out of the coffee bag while preventing oxygen from entering the bag.
